Shaun is the Pastor to Kids at Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene. He’s been serving in Children’s Ministry for the last two decades. He has a degree in Bible & Theology and is currently finishing up a Masters of Divinity. For Shaun, there is nothing better than seeing families discover the God who loves, celebrates, and cares for them. When he’s not at church, he and his wife Sarah can often be found traveling, thrifting, writing, playing escape rooms and board games, and drinking a good cup of coffee at a local shop.

Children’s Pastor at Erin Church of the Nazarene in Erin, TN. She has lived there since 2011. She has been serving in children’s ministry since 2001 in Oklahoma, Indiana and Ohio. Jessica co-leads the Spark Retreat for children’s ministry leaders, works on the camp council and serves on the district children’s council. Jessica is married to Jeremy and they have 3 daughters, a dog and 8 chickens.

Kayla is a Trevecca graduate with degrees in Special Education and Organizational Leadership. Her greatest passion in ministry is for people to find belonging within the love of Jesus. Kayla and her husband, Eric, love to serve the church and are grateful for the opportunity to serve on the MidSouth District.

Esther Simmons
Quizzing Coordinator

Esther Simmons resides in Paris, TN, and attends the Dover Church of the Nazarene.   Having been involved in Children’s Quizzing for over 25 years, she has a passion to teach children how to study the Bible and celebrate what they have learned through the medium of Children’s Quizzing Bible Studies.  The tools provided can be implemented in many different ways in children’s ministry.   Studying the Word through this program is both fun and eternally rewarding.  Feel free to contact her for any information needed or questions you might have.

Rev. Michelle Bergman
Family Camp Activities Coordinator + Summer Camp Director

 

Michelle is the Early Childhood Pastor at Concord Community Church of the Nazarene in Brentwood, TN. She has been serving in Children’s Ministry since 2004. One of her passions is creating experiences where kids can encounter God in such a real way that they decide to follow and serve Jesus for the rest of their lives. Michelle lives in Nashville, TN and also works as a middle school math teacher.
